consonare - Chamber Choir from Dresden

Children's Choir

Singing, creating sounds together, being versatile and importing one’s own personality – that’s consonare- and it’s now also available for children. The consonare children‘s choir is still small, but it would like to grow. That’s why it is continuously looking for new boys and girls, 4 years old or older (up to about 12 years old), who would like to join.

Dear parents,

the “consonare Kinderchor” offers musically interested and vocally versatile boys and girls the posibility to develop their abilities already at an early age.
Music is a very special art. It’s not possible to see it, to touch it - but it can nevertheless be an experience that musician and audience enjoy remembering often and a long time after hearing it. Every single participant is important in choir singing and every participant has his or her part in achieving the goal successfully: common singing.
The children participating in the consonare childrens‘ choir enjoy a sophisticated hobby. Not only musical abilities are promoted there, but also important properties such as being considerate of one another, listening and a sense responsibility.
The choir rehearses in different groups. They are constantly formed anew depending on number, age and abilities of the children thus giving each child the support fitting to its posibilities. Highlight and goal of the rehearsals are of course the concerts. There the children can demonstrate their aquired abilities at first to their parents, soon, however, also together with the consonare chamber choir at performances outside of family circles.
I invite you and your child to come by. Grandparents, aunts or friends are cordially invited, too. Come on a Wednesday (Please not during school holidays) at 4 p.m. to our rehearsal room, Zellescher Weg 41, House 4. Here you can ask your questions, enroll and introduce your child etc.
Look out, the rehearsal room is tricky to find. Please, therefore, pay attention to the drawing or call ahead of time: 0351-2881512.
I am looking foward to meeting you and your child.

Yours sincerely,

Annette Borck, choir director
