The members of consonare are young men and women who spend a lot of their spare time working for the choir. Apart from the weekly rehearsals and up to 30 concerts per year they help in the organization and administration of the choir. The childrens’ choir would not be able to exist without these efforts, as well.
Even though the concerts cover most of our expenses we are also dependent on other sources of financing. The fees from concerts in churches and especially retirement homes do not meet the expenses of our musical director, travelling and score books. For that reason we ask people as well as institiutions for donations.
The Revenue office has recognized us as a non-profit organization so that we are able to provide the proper acknowledgment of any donation made to us. There are of course other possibilities for support: a sponsorship or arrangement of concerts with our choir.
